    JKA is the preserver of the soul and spirit of the art of Karate-do based on the ancient Japanese tradition of Bushido (the way of the Samurai). JKA mission is to promote this way of Karate throughout the world, ensuring that it remains true to the philosophical precepts upon which it was founded. We are the only official club in Bahrain endorsed and directly affiliated by JKA Japan. Our training and ranking system (belts) are the only ones certified from Japan and recognized worldwide.

    Tennis started in Bahrain as early as the 1950’s when expatriate visitors were playing it. 4 years later, the first ever tennis competition was held in the country. Thereafter, the game rapidly spread amongst the local and residents, resulting in more tennis courts being built.

    Zen-Do Bahrain has been offering instruction and training in Kickboxing since 2002. Located in Al-Hamala , Zen-Do Bahrain has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts. Headed by a staff of expert instructors and managers, including Suhail Algosaibi, Imran Al-Aradi and Mandy Vidalis Zen-Do Bahrain offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in Kickboxing.

    The Bahrain Athletics Association was founded on Nov. 3, 1974. It was re-registered on July 16, 1990 at the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) in accordance with the Decree bylaw no.21 of 1989. The Bahrain Athletics Association has a Standing Order that conforms with the standard regulations of sport unions and federations Kingdom-wide.
