 Moevenpick Hotel Bahrain is pleased to announce the appointment of Holger Lang in the capacity of Executive Chef as of March 25, 2010.
Holger is a German national with over 20 years of experience in International hospitality. He studied Kitchen Master Draft Degree in Hotel College, Rotenberg, Germany.
Prior to his appointment, Holger was Executive Chef in Kempinski High Tatras, a lake-side luxury resort in Pleso, Slovakia. He has worked most of his career within Germany, Portugal and Switzerland but also had experience in Saudi Arabia wherein he worked at Sheraton Jeddah Hotel and Villas, Russia, Greece, Bulgaria and Slovenia. He started his career in 1988 in Restaurant Schlossbrau in Germany as “Commis de cuisine”and grew in the position until he became Executive Chef in 2003.
Holger has a good background with experience in all aspects of the kitchen. He has a varied style of cooking having an experience with Italian, Asian and European cuisine. Holger speaks fluent English and German as well as Portuguese and Spanish. |
